António Pereira soares
A late 18th, early 19th century Portuguese silver coffee-pot, with engraved decoration and depicting garlands.
Having a baluster form with demi-fluted body, a narrow neck, the domed hinged cover with urn finial and beaded rim, is raised on a spreading circular base.
The coffee-pot has swan-necked spout terminating in a narrow trumpet mouth and ebonized wood shaped-scroll handle, which has a beaded pattern running down the center.
It is made from a good gauge of silver and has clear hallmarks.
